Veedersburg -- Leslie Lee Keller, 64 year old WWI veteran died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at his home about 7 miles south of here. He had been in failing health the past 15 years and seriously ill 5 months. Born March 11, 1896, near Veedersburg, he was a son of Ben and Anna Krout Keller. He married Alpha M. Helms Dec 19, 1923. Mr. Keller, who was a truck driver before failing health forced him to retire was a member of the Prairie Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include the wife; three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Axsom and Mrs. Louis William, both of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Myerah Rusk of Junction City, KS; three brothers, Arista of Veedersburg; Orville of Crawfordsville and Max of ALbuquerque NM and 4 sisters, Mrs. pearl hershberger and Mrs. Fay Minnick both of Veedersburg, mrs. Mildred Lynn of Danville, Il; and Mrs. Wandeline Deck of Crawfordsville. Funeral rites are announced for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fishero Funeral Home here with Rev. Harry Hybarger in charge. Burial in Bonebrake Cemetery south of here.

Veedersburg - Leslie Lee Keler, 91, died at 2:15 p..m. Saturday at home after an extended illness. A resident of Veedersburg, he married Alpha Helms in 1923.  He was a member of the Prairie Creek Baptist Church.  Surviving along with his widow are three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Axson and Mrs. Louise Williams, both of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Myerah Rusk of Junction City, Kansas; four sisters, Mrs. Pearl Hershbrerger and Mrs. Fay Minnick, both of Veedersburg; Mrs. Mildred Lynn, Danville, Ill and Mrs. Wandeline Deck of Crawfordsville; and three brothers, Arista Keller of Veedersburg. Orbal Keller of Crawfordsville and Max Keller of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
